RosalieMITCHELLHARRIET (Rose) Festivities abound, writing cards, wrapping pressies and all the cheer Yet our hearts are heavy as we remember those who we hold so dear Whilst we enjoy the company of others all around us on the day Our minds will be full of you and the words we would love to say. Its your laughter, your face, your love and your tender touch Darling Mum that is missed always and longed for so very much Your knowing smile and your love when you gave that warm embrace And the smell of you Mum as you cupped your hands round my face. Yes I have friends all of whom always help me with joy and laughter Building new memories to treasure from here onward forever after But they are not you Mum, the one who could help me thro this fight Banish this darkness forever and make my life so happy and bright. The Christmas decorations they twinkle and some even sing a tune Dancing merrily in the breeze and then shining when under a moon Making all who see them remember being in that carefree innocent time Happily awaiting Santa to bring them gifts and make everything fine. So if I could be given the magic and then make just one wish today I would ask this Fulfiller of Dreams if he could just light a pathway For me to follow and be guided and be able to come face to face And again be that child Mum, loved and wrapped in your warm embrace. With love from Carole & Tom xxxxxx Luv&Lix from Rosie & Charlie xxxx
